High School and College Graduates Join Us for Graduate Sunday Breakfast and Service on June 2nd! Deadline is this Friday May 17th! Please follow this link to register! The morning will begin with breakfast in your honor in the Fellowship Hall at 8:45am and will conclude with a special worship service in your cap and gown at 11:05am in the sanctuary. We need a wallet-size hardcopy photo for the display board that includes your name, high school, and future plans on the back. We would also love to have photos for the breakfast slideshow: current pic, baby pic FUMC youth or mission photos should be emailed to pgothard@fumc-cary.org .
The "No Longer in High School Sunday School" Class Begins This Sunday!!! This Sunday, FUMC-Cary will host a new Sunday school class for young adults who are “no longer in high school” (ages 18 to 20-something). Small group discussion will include a variety of “next steps” topics. Discerning God’s plan for career choices, becoming independent, finances, and relationships will be the focus of many discussions. Participants will be encouraged to bring relevant discussion or study ideas. Please come as you are and consider grabbing a cup of coffee or tea at First Cup prior to class. LegoCreate - Something New for May only! Youth Ministry Accepting any Lego Donations Does your youth like creating with Legos? For 4 weeks on Wednesdays in May(8, 15, 22, and 29) youth will gather in the youth room 4:30-5:30 p.m. to hear a 10 minute Bible story then will create a response in Lego. We will be hearing stories of David, Noah, Jacob, and Jesus. We’d love to know if your youth is planning to attend, so please email Kim at kchestnutt@fumc-cary.org.
United Methodist Youth Fellowship This Sunday This Sunday, May 19th- meet for dinner (at regular time) followed by participating in the evenings worship led by our youth choir.
Gleaning Opportunities Our first gleaning of the 2013 season is scheduled for Sunday May 18 from 8am-Noon Invite your friends to join us in this fun, outdoor, hands-on way to feed the hungry! Sign-up here.

This year's missions will include: Meals on Wheels, Have a Nice Day Bouquet, Cookies for Kindness, Dorcas Ministries, Gracious Harvest, Cup of Cold Water, Yard work for FUMCC insiders, plus a new mission, Southeast Raleigh Crazy Olympics for Kids (stay tuned for details). In addition to mission, we will have daily worship reflection groups, group games, movies, swimming, and skating and more.
