Sanctuary Worship

Join us on Sundays at 8:25, 9:45 and 11:05 a.m. as we celebrate our Lord in our sanctuary worship. Together we will learn the lessons God has for us through scripture and proclamation, music, and sacrament. Communion is usually served the first Sunday of each month.

Spring Sermon Series - Come On In, The Water's Fine

When we are baptized, it means everything that water means - life, death, cleansing, renewal. For the Church, baptism invites us into the Easter mystery and into the life of an Easter people. This year, during the Great Fifty Days of Easter, we will "remember our baptism," reflect on what it means, and be thankful.

Lenten Sermon Series - It's Not a Game

We say that the mission of the church is "to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world." Yet, we're not sure what disciples look like or what a life of discipleship entails. How would we know one if we saw one? How do we know if we're on? And just how serious is this whole discipleship business? This year, during Lent, we will reflect on what it means to be a disciple of Jesus Christ and consider just what that means. While it's not a game, we will use the metaphor or some well-known children's games to guide us.

January Sermon Series - Choose One

Each New Year, we are faced with choices about changes in our lives - changes to our behaviors, our habits, our ways of doing things. Sometimes, the choices seem overwhelming - too many "good options" - and we desire to do them all. In the end, we do none of them. What might look like if we simplified our lives and narrowed our choices, especially in our spiritual lives, to just "one": one word, one song, one fruit, one story, one prayer? Our January sermon series invites us to consider how to "choose one" thing for our focus for 2013.
